RGX IV

November 27, 2021

The day finally came to begin the restoration of RGX IV.  Long-time friends, Cody & Casey Akin, came down from Grand Prairie to help me get started. In return for their help, I gave them the other car.

After loading their car, they took the engine and transmission out of RGX IV. They'll restore it in their shop in Grand Prairie and at some point next year, we'll put her back together. In the meantime, I'm gonna start the restoration of the car just as soon as time allows with the intention of being mostly done by the end of spring.

Both cars on the driveway at Camp Rose

When they next meet, it'll be for a NARCOA trip.

After getting the engine & transmission loaded, we went to lunch at Wunsche Bros. in Old Town Spring

That evening, Cody sent me these 2 photos after they unloaded in Grand Prairie.
