Houston Railroad Museum

I spent Saturday morning (Feb 12) at the HRRM. I've been wanting to do this for months, but my schedule never seems to line up with the monthly work days. This was a great day for things to work out; the weather was cool (26 at dawn) and the work was something I could easily help accomplish.

The mission for the day was to begin replacing all of the air hoses on the equipment. The museum is making preparations to move to a new location (not yet determined) some time in the next year. All of the existing hoses are older than the allowed 6 year life-span. So, all must replaced before UP will move the equipment.

The work was fun and the crew was great to hang out with. I'm looking forward to going back when our schedules align again.
