the Taos area... |
The Motorcars depart Antonito for Chama. |
These are beautiful machines, I am glad they have
survived. |
Helping each other out.... |
There goes that custom built. I think that is a
cool Motorcar... |
A simple design that works so well and continues
to ride the railroad.... |
There go my buddies.... |
Motorcar 2038..... |
And thanks to Matt & Amber Moharich, we have a
shot of a beautiful Garrett Locomotive, thank you so much, I love

The West Switch.. Lava, New Mexico.... |
A remote switch, ever waiting for the next train. |
Looking West, every rail, every spike, every tie
is important... |
The arroyo at Lava..... looking to Antonito. |

14 miles to La Jara, then turn east onto Colorado 135, cross the
tracks and turn north unto the first street you can find this
Flanger... |
I wish it was more visible, it
seems to be hiding.... |
Its just off the Mainline and next
to the Old Rio Grande Depot.. |
It needs a little work, but is
still a Beautiful piece of machinery.. |
It is retired now, but I am sure
this piece of equipment saw a great deal of work in the Rio Grande
days. |
Stop in someday and say hi to this
Flanger... |
