The Interior of the Galveston Trolley.

Here's another shot from my friend Lee Conner, here is 1744 in Alamosa, it has been put together and they plan on dropping the Pilot axle for repairs.. thanks to Lee and I will get more shots from 1744 soon!  Check down below for more shots of 1744!

Looking rearward, the interior of these trolleys are beautiful.

The Third painted Antonito coach rolls out of the shop..

With Diesel 19 out of service we have to use the front end loader to move the cars.. The motors for Diesel 19 were supposed to be delivered last week, we got a call that the company making the motors had to delay their delivery another week, so we continue to wait for the motors of Diesel 19!

The car looks great!

I am on the roof of the Antonito snack car inside the shop, we are replacing the roof of the car and will paint it also.. thought you might like the view from this angle.

Locomotive 487 is fired up and doing some switching!!

We are setting up the cars that will head out to Chama.

Raising a bit of steam, locomotive 487 moves the coaches around Antonito.

Moving around the yard in a rainstorm.

Wednesday morning and the train is being prepped to move to Chama.

There will be a few cars, a caboose and 4 tie cars.

Locomotive 487 will move the first passenger train across the line.

Locomotive 487 is on its way to Chama..

They had a great run, a long one, but a great run!

There they go, have a safe one guys... sorry, I didn't get anymore shots for you, wasn't on the train!!! maybe next time.

Welcome to Alamosa, now these picture's aren't breaking news, but I have picture's of 1744 being unloaded in Alamosa!!!

1744's tender is going to be unloaded first!!

Here is locomotive 1744 on its trailer.

I wanted to get you a few good shots of 1744.

1744 loaded on its trailer and awaiting its turn to be unloaded.

The crews are rigging the tender to be lifted off the Trailer.

They will use two crane's for the job.

The Antonito local is passing the crane and the tender, it is on it's way to Antonito.

There goes the train...

The crews continue to rig and place the cranes..

Tender 1744 lifts to the air!!! Now they will roll the trailer out!

Tender 1744 is in the air.

Now they drive the truck out and...

1744 for the first in history gets ready to set down on Rio Grande Rails..

Lining 1744 up and..

It's down, tender 1744 is down on the rails in Alamosa.

SL&RG 8524 pulls the Tender of 1744 away form the unloading spot..

Next the locomotive will be rolled into position. Next week more to come!
