A view of Chama, New Mexico from the oil rack...

A lock keeps the tracks safe in Chama, New Mexico..

Hey how do you turn a Moose around????

Well first you put down the turntable...

its lift into the air and...

You push it around..

Ain't that so cool....

I love the Moose, what a great piece of railroad history!!!

Locomotive 484 has been rolled into the shop to have its hubs greased, those are the gaps between the counterweights and crown brass boxes..

Welcome to Chama, New Mexico.... Here is the cab of 489 waiting to be put back on for service.

A look at the Firebox area of 489's boiler.

Work continues on the flue's and the work looks great.

Here is a Driver axle without it's tire's....

Now on the machine is one of 489's tire's being worked on, it is being fitted for placement on the axle.

Another look at the area around 489's bracket for the Air Pump.

Work continues on the frame of 489.

A look at the front cylinder on the fireman's side of 489.

They are fitting the Shoe's and wedge's for 489.

489 sits behind as 484 is serviced...

The wheels for 19 are almost finished.

This is one of 19's axle's without the tire's.. a sleeve will be added and the tire's will be pressed back on.

As of today the wheels are done and 19 is ready for service..

Locomotive 19 outside of the Antonito Shop and its ready for service...

Oh Yeah... and it has its new Horns installed, check those out!!

Views of Locomotive 484 in the Chama Shop, it is being serviced.

A look into the interior of 489's smokebox!

This is the inside of 489's firebox, you can see the flue's being installed.

I have always found these area's of locomotive's very fascinating...

Hidden places inside a locomotive that are so necessary for the operation of the locomotive.

You can see the expanding tool in one of the flue's.

Here is one of the Driver axle's of 489 waiting for its tire's.

One of 489's axle's in in the wheel machine, it is being profiled.

Locomotive 484 sits behind this machine in the shop!!

Okay this time, i think I got the right building.. the old depot in Santa Fe!!!!

Locomotive 487 at Osier, Colorado...

I thought you might like a few views of 487..

Even though 487 sits in wildflowers it is actually preparing to run a usual train..

We have a mixed train headed for Antonito.. Three flats are being deadheaded to Antonito for ties..

Locomotive 487 makes for a great shot!!!

This locomotive is my favorite, always has been!!

Steam and smoke in the Chama Shop...

Welcome back to Santa Fe, New Mexico....

Locomotive 93 waits patiently in Santa Fe....

The yard is looking quite impressive....

There is now plenty of storage and a passing siding.

I love this car, it is a great ride...

This is the back up locomotive...

Both of Santa Fe Southerns locomotive's.

I hope you enjoyed your visit to Santa Fe....
