Wednesday and a Rainbow sits on the Antonito
Depot... |

Well its Tuesday the 28th of August and MOW
crews are working on the track just east of Chama.. |
|
Ballast dumping if I am correct has been completed
to Lobato from Chama and farther along east of Tanglefoot Curve.. |
|
Here the Tamper is leveling the track and has
completed the work to milepost 342... |
|
The track looks and feels great... |

being loaded in Chama, New Mexico.. |

Locomotive 488 will do the work today... |

Raymond is on the loader and filling the cars. |

The locomotive trails the cars up Cumbres Pass as
a safety feature... |

The locomotive stays below the cars to prevent a
run away if a coupler or knuckle pin were to break. |
|
And trust me, the Knuckle pin can break, we have
had it happen before!! |
