Locomotive 484 will lead a Double-header today out of Chama.

We have stopped just east of Lobato for a Photo Runby... It's Fall Madness on the Cumbres & Toltec...

Locomotive is doing the work today.. Jeff, Greg and I are the crew onboard 488 today!!

Thought you might like a few shots of the action or at the moment, no action!!

In this picture you can also see the completed upgrade to the track at this area.

Its the year 2007 and these Wooden refrigerator cars are still riding the rails thanks to Preservation!!!!

I took this shot from the same location as the previous shot, i turned back to face the light and I thought you might like this picture... 488's safety vents into the sky!!!

The moon over Cresco Tank.... the spout is down and Greg is putting water into 488.

488 pause's at Milepost 334...

Blue skies and steam locomotive's....

I thought you might like a few different views...

Now, I am going to change the website a bit... I think the goal of this website is to share as much of the C&T on a weekly basis as possible. So I am going to share as many different views as possible, so this means there will probably be a increase in the amount of photos.. let me know what you think!!!

Locomotive 488 at Milepost 334.

It was a bit rainy today...

Cumbres is a bit foggy today.....

The light comes thru the fog...

Made for some cool shots...

Now as you know, I had just gotten soaked taking picture's at Hamiltons Point and really didn't want to stop at Cumbres and would have rather just driven home...

But stopping was worth it...

These shots came out great...

The Double header made its arrival in Cumbres...

Locomotive 487 leads the way...

Pretty cool, Huh... I am glad I stopped!!

Locomotive 488 is the road locomotive today and that's the one I am on!!!

Okay I am on the fireman's side and rolling to Osier....

Look ahead and you can see the work that has been done here...

The track has been ballasted, lifted and lined and brushed...

The track here is done and the ride is amazing... crews are now working towards Cumbres..

Rolling uphill near milepost 314... the falls colors are beautiful.

The colors this year are really pretty..

Nearing Rock Tunnel....

The Nose of 488 and the tail of 484....

Jake Vigil... one of the railroads newest fireman.. he was promoted out of the track crew and is doing great, say hello next time you see him.
