mapping drawn on the firebox surface for the Ultrasound testing! |

This is a weak spot found on 487's firebox "mudring" we have since
then removed 4 rivets from the area and will put new rivets back in
and add some welding! |

A wear spot from a Cab support, it was easier for us to work with
Cab removed, but it also allowed us to find wear spots that needed
to be repaired. |

I laid on my back in the firebox to shoot this Picture, you are
looking straight up into the removed section of Crownsheet, You can
see the holes from the removed staybolts, some of the cut staybolts
needing to be removed and some of the boiler support rods riveted to
the boiler wall. |
