Another Stunning Colorado Rainbow, Double-Arch and all!!! This was taken North of La Jara Colorado..

Here is a Very Nice Young Lady who made a return Visit to the C&T Railroad. I was very Happy to have her visit the Cab in Chama.. Thank You Jaclyn, I was extremely Honored to meet you and hope you will Visit us once more in the Future.

You are looking at 488's Front Flue, the welding on this began over the weekend.. I will double-check back on Monday!! To give you the latest news!

You are looking at the bottom of a Journal Box for a Trailing Truck axle on 488. Inside the box is the Pad or Pillow that has a sponge interior and holds oil to Lubricate the Bearing of the Wheel.

Here is the other section of the Trailing Truck journal Box on 488, The Box with the pillow in the previous picture bolts to this item, you can see the bolts holes and this becomes the Journal box for this wheel.

Here is part of the Spring rigging for 488, this hold the Equalizer that connects the Number 4 spring to the Trailing Truck Spring..

Here is 488's Firebox, you can see all the New Staybolt Caps and all the staybolts that will be replaced, the holes will be threaded and the staybolts will be put in.

Here is 488's front end, the Pilot Trucks are being rebuilt.

Here is Steve Montano. he is working on a shaving machine and is working on a Brass Shoe for one of 488's Journal Boxes.

Here is a look at 488's Expansion Links, they are finished are ready to install.

Here is a few of 488's Crown-Brass boxes, these boxes will fit over the Journal of the wheels and support the weight of the Locomotive's!

Here is 488's two Radius Rods, these fit into the Expansion Links and and drive or push the Valve's that feed steam into and out of the Cylinders.

The Railroad Truck is getting a facelift, i found it sitting outside the shop with regular Truck Bed off..

The Truck is getting a Flat-Bed installed.. hopefully this will work better for the Guys!

Here is a set of Wheels ready to ship out, the old wheels will be pressed off and new ones will be pressed on the Axles,

Soni putting Oil in the Crosshead Cups, these Cups oil the Crosshead as it goes back and forward guiding the Piston Rod and driving the Main Rod.

Jeff Stebbins ready for another day, he looks good and is Feeling good, Hope his Cancer is all behind him for good.

Here are 2 of the Most Important Young Ladies in my Life, Jessica and Samantha!

And here is their Father Mr Anderson, Mr Anderson is a High-Ranking Police Officer with the Denver Police Department.. Mr Anderson comes from a Railroad BackGround, His Grandfather was a Engineer with the Colorado and Southern!

And here are all three of them, Sam and Mr Anderson.. My Buddy and Jessica.. the most wonderful amazing and important Young Lady in my Life.. Their mother AnnMarie didn't ride the Train, So I missed her all day!

Here are Sam and Jess, these Young Ladies mean the world to me.. I would do just about anything for these Gals.. I miss you Girls and i hope to see you again real soon.. I miss you alot!!!!

Now back to the Old Photo Album... quite a few years back we ran a Freight Train... Locomotive 463 lead the charge up Cumbres and ran light all the way to Antonito... Engineer Jeremy Garcia and I, enjoyed a whole day with 463.
