Here is a Wonderful Young Lady from Grants, New Mexico.. My Aunt
lived in Grants and I remember watching those Santa Fe Freight
Trains roll thru town with Silver and Red Caboose's.. those were
Great times.. Here is a Amanda Tena from Grants, I was very Happy to

Well I thought you might be interested in seeing a few Photographs of
D&RGW Locomotive 169's restoration, here is the Tender Frame after
its delivery to Alamosa, it still needs a few loose ends repaired,
but is the First step to its eventual Restoration. |

Now here is a bunch of People who rode the Train and I must say they
were just Awesome, I really enjoyed talking with them.. I hope I get
them in the right order.. Michael Johnson, Amanda Bowers, Catherine
Foster, Kyle Foster and Jessica Bichel... come Back and see us, you
were Fun, Friendly, Great People.. The best Customers ever!! Thank
you very much for riding with us. |

Locomotives lift a 16 car Train up Cumbres Pass. |

Both Locomotives are working to get this Train up the Hill. |

I am The Fireman on this Locomotive, Superintendent Marvin Casias is
at the Throttle.. In-Between scopes I was able to take these
Picture's for you. |

We are pulling hard the last couple of miles as Train 216 approaches
Coxo Curve. |

Locomotive 484 eases off a little as we crest over the Hump at Coxo
Curve, Locomotive 487 is still on the 4 Percent Grade and is still
pushing hard! |

Both Locomotives Throttle up as we climb out of Coxo Curve and make
our last push to Cumbres Summit. |

Train 216 is coming into Windy Point and we know we are close to
finishing our Helper duties as we will soon be into Cumbres. |

successful Helper Run up Cumbres.. |

Marvin and I returned light to Chama that day.. as is the case with
all helpers.. Marvin is at the Throttle and I lean out to take a
shot as we Cross Lobato Trestle. |

Here is the Catholic Church in Fort Garland, Colorado, I saw the
clouds and the sky and couldn't pass this Picture by.. Fort Garland
is home to of Course..Fort Garland and is also a Great place to
watch Trains..Only two a day though!! Well that is all for this
