Left side of Locomotive, March 2nd 2004... we are installing
staybolts in this Picture... these are the new bolts that are
replacing the one's that were removed when we replaced that section
of Firebox! |

Here is a close-up of 488's Tender, it has been freshly painted with
Black, Teresa "the only Woman employee in the C&T Shops" trimmed the
Tender with the Silver Paint.. |

Teresa even went as far as to needle-scale the Frogs and Rails ramps
and paint them silver. |

Well thats the end for this week... 497 and 463 at Cumbres... from
the C.J. Llamas Collection.. Thank you once again for everybody's
kind words and e-mails.. the work is hard and the hours long, but we
continue to work our hardest, the sore muscles and doubts will never
keep us from our duties.. we will rebuild these Locomotives and they
will climb Cumbres once again.. Steam will never die here, We are
Proud of our Railroad Heritage and our Country... and we will do our
Best and Better to Preserve its History for the Future... Thanks ...
