On thursday the 29th, Bunning Transfer Trucking Company brought the Tender of Colorado & Southern #9 into the Antonito Railroad Yard.. it was probably the first time in History a Colorado & Southern piece of Equipment had ever seen the sun in the Great San Luis Valley!!

Under the watchful eye of Marvin Casias and the excellent Driving of the Truck Driver... Colorado & Southern Tender #9 is backed into Track One..

The Rails on the Truck Trailer and the Rails on Track one come together and for the First time in History a Colorado and Southern Tender will touch the Rails of the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad. Thursday April 29th 2004 becomes a new day in the History of this Locomotive Tender #9.

Alot of people ask me why I am not in more photo's, well there's my shadow..its the best I can do!!!

With Marvin at Diesel 19's controls and using Tender 487 "freshly painted" as a Idle car... Colorado & Southern  Tender #9 is pulled onto C&T Rails!!

Off the Trailer and onto Track one!

The Truck Driver, he is the man who moved the Tender all the way from Georgetown, He was in charge of a Priceless piece of Railroad History and he delivered right on schedule... Everybody, give that Guy a Hand!!!!!!

Tender #9 sits in Antonito..

Engineer Jeremy Garcia and His Father-in-law Mr. Eyman work at installing a Water Heater in the Antonito.. This will help us Greatly with our Hydro tests.. Thank You Guys...
