Much to my surprise, my beautiful and ever-so-patient wife approved my crazy idea to spend 4 days travelling to and exploring the Cumbres & Toltec. The trip was approximately  88 hours in length, 30 of which was the drive to and from Chama. This was my first trip for the Opening Day ceremonies and it was WELL worth the drive.
