Drive Day
Chama, New Mexico to Spring, Texas
(15 grueling hours)

At 0400 the alarms went off and I began the chore of loading the truck. At 0445 we slowly cruised through the yard to soak in some final sights and smells before heading south on the long trek back to Texas.
As I write this 6 weeks after returning I still can't believe all that we were fortunate to see and experience. No vacation is perfect, but this one will surely be VERY difficult to beat!! |
